1. Our Privacy Obligations

ikigaiHub, hereinafter referred as “us”, “we” or “our”, are more committed to our learners’ hereinafter referred as ‘you’ or ‘your’, privacy and choices. While providing our services, we might collect data from you, use them and/or disclose them in the manner as described below which is governed by this policy.

We advise you to visit our page regularly and review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

1.1. Definitions

Learners
Enrolled members of ikigaiHub Bootcamp program.

1.2. Types of Data Collected:

1.2.1. Personal Data

While using our service, we may ask you to provide with certain personal information, so that we can identify you or contact you. The personal information may include, but is not limited to

  1. First and Last Name
  2. Contact Number
  3. E-mail Id
  4. Address and proof for address.

1.2.2. Cookies and Usage Data

We may use your Personal Data to contact you with marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by simply unsubscribing.

1.2.3. Usage Data

We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

1.2.4. Location Data

We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service.
You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time, through your device settings.

1.2.5. Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

1.3. Data Usage

ikigaiHub uses the collected data for various purposes including-

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
  • To provide customer support
  • To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
  • To monitor the usage of our Service
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues
  • To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased, used or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information

ikigaiHub may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to perform a contract with you
  • You have given us permission to do so
  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and it’s not overridden by your rights
  • To comply with the law

1.4. Retention of Data

  • We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
  • We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of ikigaiHub
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
  • To protect against legal liability

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be corrected, amended, deleted or removed from our systems, please contact us.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you

    Whenever you want to access, update or request deletion of your personal data stored with us, please contact us to do the same.

  • The right of rectification

    You have the right to have your information rectified if that information is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • The right to object

    You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data.

  • The right of restriction

    You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.

  • The right to data portability

    You have the right to be provided with a copy of the information we have on you in a structured, machine-readable and commonly used format.

  • The right to withdraw consent

    You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where ikigaiHub relied on your consent to process your personal information.

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data.

1.7. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

3. Admissions Policy

ikigaiHub is committed to providing a professional training to you with the perfect ecosystem to learn, collaborate and gain real-world working experience. Our admissions process will aim to admit learners who demonstrate a keen interest and aptitude for the area of study.

For Expert Programs

  • Once you register with us online, you will be sent an Online Assessment Test link to your registered email ID if the expert program has an application procedure declared in its landing page
  • Based on the Test results, we will send you an acceptance mail along with the Fee Payment Link within 2-4 hours after your submission of test.
  • In case, you failed to meet our expectations in the assessment test, we will inform you about the same through a mail within 2-4 hours after your submission of test.
  • The acceptance mail sent by us will provide you a link for our policies with regard to Admission, Fee Payment and Refund, Attendance, Withdrawal, Certificate and other general policies. You are advised to go through it thoroughly.
  • On rare circumstances, on-spot registrations will be accepted. After obtaining the basic identity details from you, we will send you a payment link to your registered email ID and you will be allowed to attend the Bootcamp after the successful payment of fee.
  • A learner’s kit will be provided to you on the first day of the Bootcamp. However, in cases where you opt out of the Bootcamp after the commencement of classes, you will not be asked to return the kit.
  • After admission, you will be given access to our ikigaiHub Portal for a year, wherein you can chat with mentors and other learners, and also be updated with the job vacancies.

For FastTrack / Kickstarter Programs

  • The registration process is instantaneous and is on first come first serve basis. Once you successfully register and your payment for the bootcamp is successfully made, it denotes your booking confirmation.

4. Bootcamp fee payment and refund policy

4.1. Policy on Bootcamp Fee Payment

For Expert Programs

  • You will be asked to pay the Bootcamp fee at least two days before the commencement of the Bootcamp.
  • However, in case vacancies are available, on-spot registration will be accepted.
  • In both the above cases, the Bootcamp fee shall be paid through the payment link that is generated by us and sent it to your registered email ID.
  • EMI options are available as mentioned in the respective bootcamp program page
  • An acknowledgment of successful receipt of the fee and registration completion for the bootcamp will be sent via an email.

For Kickstarter and FastTrack Programs

  • Payment for the bootcamp should be made prior to the commencement of the bootcamp
  • All the payments are expected to be made online and no cash payments will be accepted.

4.2. ​Refund Policy - Applicable for Expert Programs

You may opt out of the Bootcamp anytime before or after the payment of Bootcamp fee. You will be asked to write us a formal mail stating the reasons for the exit from the bootcamp and requesting us for refund. In order to avail refund of the Bootcamp fee, we expect you to adhere to our Refund policy as stated below.

4.2.1. Refund Entitlement

You may be entitled to a refund of Bootcamp fees in the event that:​ You write an email to us requesting for the refund and also stating the reasons for the exit from the Bootcamp. We send you a mail confirming that you have been dismissed from the Bootcamp.

4.2.2. Refunds before the commencement of Bootcamp

In case you opt out of the Bootcamp after payment of the fee but before the commencement of the first day of the class, we will refund the entire fee amount in the manner explained in 4.3

4.2.3. Refunds after the commencement of Bootcamp

In case you opt out after the commencement of the Bootcamp, your fee will be refunded on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the number of classes attended by you. Refer 4.3 for details.

4.3. Payment of Refund

  • If at anytime you opt out after the commencement of the bootcamp, we will calculate the fee for the number of classes attended by you and the remaining amount will be refunded.
  • Refunds owed to you by us will be paid within 3-5 working days from the receipt of Refund Request Mail.
  • The refund will be made through NEFT/RTGS/IMPS
  • An acknowledgement signed by you on successful receipt of the refund will be given to the you.
  • An acknowledgement email from your registered email address, on successful receipt of the refund, must be sent to hello@ikigaihub.com

For Kickstarter and FastTrack Programs

  • Payments once made are not refundable/ non- transferrable.

5. Policy On Absence And Tardiness

  • We encourage learners to attend all the sessions since every session will add to their skills and learning attitude. However, a minimum of 90% of attendance is required to be eligible for graduation from ikigaiHub.
  • Where, you are not able to attend any session, a formal mail to us is appreciated to notify the leave in prior, stating the reasons of failure to attend the session. In case of no such intimation to the ikigaiHub team about the leave, the learner would be penalized in his/her certification during the graduation day.

6. Withdrawal from the Bootcamp Program

  • You can withdraw from the bootcamp anytime for any reasons and your Bootcamp fee will be refunded in the manner specified in Clause 4
  • The access to the ikigaiHub portal will be revoked on withdrawal or dismissal from the Bootcamp program.

7. Certification and Graduation Day

  • A Graduation day will be conducted by us at the end of the Bootcamp to give away the Certificates of the Program.
  • Your skills and participation in the Bootcamp program and in the ikigaiHub Portal will be closely assessed and will be mentioned on the Certificate.
  • We expect you to be regular to the sessions and maintain the maximum attendance requirement. However, if you are not regular to the sessions, the same will be mentioned in the Certificate.

8.Code Of Conduct And Dismissal Policy

  • You are expected to meet and adhere to the Code of Conduct set out in this policy while completing a Bootcamp at ikigaiHub.
  • While on ikigaiHub’s premises or in the course of activities or events hosted by us, you:
    1. must comply with all our applicable policies;
    2. must treat all learners and mentors with respect and must not engage in physically aggressive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise offensive behaviour;
    3. must not steal, misuse, destroy or deface our property;
    4. must not commit or attempt to commit acts of sexual violence;
    5. must not consume, possess or distribute alcohol or controlled or restricted substances; and
    6. must not contravene any provision of the Indian Penal Code or any other federal, provincial, or municipal statute or regulation.
  • You will be terminated from the ikigaiHub Bootcamp program in case of misconduct of any of the above cases.
  • No fee will be refunded in case of your dismissal from our Bootcamp program due to misconduct.

9. Respectful And Fair Treatment Of Students Policy

We are committed to ensuring that our learning environment promotes the respectful and fair treatment of all learners. We acknowledge our responsibility to provide a safe and civil environment for you to learn in. Harassment, intimidation, bullying, and discrimination disrupt both your ability to learn and our ability to educate you in a safe environment.

ikigaiHub is committed to ensuring that its learning environment promotes the respectful and fair treatment of all students.
While on ikigaiHub premises, the following activities are prohibited:

  • Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Intimidation
  • Discrimination

If under any circumstances, a prohibited activity occur, a learner may report to a mentor or any administrator in a safe, private environment about the issue. The mentor or administrator will determine which course of action or punishment is necessary based on the circumstance and these actions can be in the range of a simple warning all the way to expulsion. In all cases, safety and welfare of the learners are tantamount, and we will retain a position of zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
